Women In Automotive® Foundation (“Foundation,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of the personal information entrusted to us by our donors, visitors, partners, and scholarship applicants. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information obtained through our website and through our donation, contact, and scholarship processes. By using the Site or submitting information to the Foundation, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Donation Information. When you make a charitable contribution, we collect your name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and payment information processed through a secure third-party payment processor. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
Contact Form Submissions. When you submit an inquiry through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, organization name (if provided), and the content of your message.
Email Subscriptions. When you subscribe to our email communications, we collect your name and email address.
Scholarship Applications. If you apply for a Foundation scholarship or program, we collect the information provided in your application, which may include educational history, employment information, personal statements, and references.
Website Usage Data. We automatically collect certain technical information when you visit the Site, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and time spent on the Site. The Foundation does not store, transmit, or have access to full credit card numbers or financial account numbers. Payment information is encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS technology during transmission. By making a donation through the Site, you agree to the payment processor’s terms of service and privacy policy.

Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send transactional communications such as donation receipts.

No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
