ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing, browsing, or using the Women In Automotive® Foundation website (the “Site”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the Foundation’s Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of the Site immediately. The Foundation reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site following any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

ABOUT WOMEN IN AUTOMOTIVE® FOUNDATION

Women In Automotive® Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity with EIN 99-1803497, dedicated to advancing women across the automotive industry through scholarships, education partnerships, mentorship, leadership development, and workforce initiatives. The Foundation is the nonprofit arm of Women In Automotive® and operates independently as a charitable organization.

WEBSITE USE

The Site is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate charitable giving, partnership inquiries, and scholarship information. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms and all applicable laws. You agree not to transmit unlawful or harmful material, impersonate any person or entity, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, introduce harmful code or technology, collect personal information about other users without consent, or use the Site for any unauthorized commercial purpose.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, photographs, logos, icons, images, audio and video clips, data compilations, and software, is the property of Women In Automotive® Foundation or its content licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. The “Women In Automotive®” name and logo are registered trademarks. Unauthorized use, reproduction, modification, distribution, or display of any content from the Site is strictly prohibited without prior written permission. You may print or download a single copy of pages for personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not modify the content and retain all proprietary notices.

DONATIONS AND CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS

Non-Refundable. Charitable donations are generally non-refundable. In the event of a processing error, duplicate charge, or unauthorized transaction, please contact the Foundation within 30 days at nonprofit@womeninautomotive.org. Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Use of Funds. The Foundation reserves the right to use donated funds in furtherance of its charitable mission. Donors who wish to designate a contribution for a specific purpose should contact the Foundation prior to making their donation.

Tax Deductibility. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law under IRC Section 170. The Foundation will provide written acknowledgment as required by IRS regulations. Donors are responsible for determining the deductibility of their contributions and are encouraged to consult a qualified tax advisor.

No Goods or Services. No goods or services are provided in exchange for charitable donations unless explicitly stated in writing at the time of solicitation.

DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Site and all content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. The Foundation makes no representations regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of any content on the Site and does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Women In Automotive® Foundation, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site, any content on the Site, or any donation made through the Site.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Tarrant County, Texas, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
